ZAC DES RIVES DE LA CLAIRETTE

The ZAC des Rives de la Clairette site, a former industrial brownfield currently being decommissioned, is part of the heterogeneous urban fabric of Déville-lès-Rouen.

Framed by two wooded hillsides, the Déville-lès-Rouen valley contains a tangle of structures inherited from its working-class industrial past, including large warehouses.

The ZAC des Rives de la Clairette project integrates into this urbanized fabric on both sides, representing a major opportunity for future users of the site as well as local residents: a living space, green lung, promenade, leisure and discovery area, and sports facility—a multifunctional space responding to diverse community needs.

The landscape programming transforms the ZAC des Rives de la Clairette into an urban park, with multiple points of connection between the banks of the Clairette and various developments led by the Commune and Métropole (links to the city center and other urbanized areas, sports and cultural facilities, etc.).

This green backbone is structured by self-sustaining ecosystems that require minimal maintenance.
