The Redoute neighborhood holds a special place in the city of Fontenay-sous-Bois. Its western flank is directly linked to the city while its eastern flank provides a more natural atmosphere with open views of Paris.
During the competition stage, the team’s work was based on two strong entities outside the site in order to give meaning to the space. The existing public spaces were well maintained but they lacked urban activities. Therefore, the project gives a new life to the neighborhood since it set public space programs.
