This project proposes the creation of an ecological and urban park. The park is located in the center of the city, near the primary communal facilities (town hall, multimedia library, schools…), this park constitutes an urban centrality that takes into account the growing ecological and climatic constraints.
The design of the park is based on the development of cool spaces in relation with the typology of green spaces. The dense and wooded spaces, located in the south, offer shaded areas in relation with the existing urban programs that have been preserved and/or repositioned. To reduce heat islands, playgrounds are integrated into the scheme, as well as the schoolyard. The large façade of the multimedia library associated with the large clearing (central lawn) benefit from a sun exposure for the organization of communal events.
