In Calais (Pas-de-Calais), the Heroic City projects its occasional or daily users into a near future where nature and city would be one. Inspired by the futuristic universe of the Calaisian park ‘Heroïc Land’, this new district, connected to the park entrance by a multitude of links, becomes a guiding thread in the development of the project.
The landscape becomes a support for the appropriation of multiple practices and creates a new urban pattern that builds on the qualities of the existing territory. Bringing the railway station closer to the ZAC de la Turquerie, passing through the Agora and the heart of the district, the public spaces of Heroic City are part of the continuity by proposing a harmony between all the elements that make up the district
