The Bruyères/Delage neighborhood in Courbevoie (France) is marked by its history, which is still notable due to the presence of the historical and industrial building of Delage factory, on Boulevard de Verdun. The city’s ambition is to begin the urban transition of the place towards the development of a neighborhood that offers several functions. This place will gather economic activities residences, shops and services in a synergy that will make it an urban center.
The project is based on four orientations
- The creation of about 1,000 family housing units (30% social housing);
- The creation of offices, as close as possible to the SNCF train station and the future Grand Paris station;
- The renewal of a commercial ground and the creation of new shops/activities (the evolution of Delage factory could belongs to the urban renovation and participate in the centralization of the neighborhood);
- Easy circulation on the new road network that allows the place to be opened both to downtown and to the station.
The city’s objective is also to get the Ecoquartier label.
