Construction of a Reception and Health-Social Services Hub
The first phase of the Normandy Sports Center in Houlgate is set on a site defined by the presence of the Drochon River and a sensitive natural landscape.

The project responds to this unique geography by creating a bridge-building that links the two banks and reshapes the entrance to the site. The outdoor spaces reinforce this architectural staging: the promenade is designed as a guiding thread, framing and directing movement between the town, the sports plateau, and the valley.

The planted sequences extend the Normandy bocage and establish a strong landscape identity, where the scale of the larger landscape dialogues with that of everyday uses. Transitional gardens, seating areas, and visual openings toward the river invite both relaxation and contemplation.

More than just a facility, this first phase of the project gives the site a new breath—a recomposed landscape where sport, nature, and conviviality meet.
